Short-form interview series
An ongoing interview series for CinemaxX, featuring leading actors, directors and authors of German cinema. Each episode: one guest, personal questions, one cinema auditorium.
CinemaxX needed a regular content format that could travel. Consistent enough for a series, flexible enough to work across locations and guests.
Creative translation, interview production, cinematography, edit and delivery across all formats: YouTube, social, and press. Every episode produced to the same standard.
"Deutsches Kino ganz Groß" is an ongoing interview series for CinemaxX, featuring actors, directors and authors of German-language film and television. One auditorium, one guest, a set of personal questions.
Each episode follows the same logic: a cinema auditorium as the setting, a fixed set of personal questions, and a guest who is more than just a name on a poster. The format is designed to be instantly recognisable. Same visual language, same rhythm, different person each time.
Two-camera setup and clean lighting. We keep the visual style consistent. The cinema space does the visual work, we capture the conversation.
Each episode is cut for YouTube first, then broken into shorter versions for social and teaser clips for press. Deliverables are structured from the edit stage, never as an afterthought.
