Portrait Film · Personal Project · Hamburg · 2021
A day in the life of Til Wagner, Hamburg-based sports and lifestyle photographer. We followed him through his everyday routine, at a shoot and in the moments between. Voice over from a conversation we had along the way.
Til Wagner shoots sports and lifestyle in Hamburg. His work has a directness to it. We wanted to capture how he thinks and how he works, without turning it into a showreel.
We followed Til through a regular working day: the preparation, a shoot, the in-between moments. The film is built around a conversation we had with him, cut as voice over rather than as a sit-down interview.
Personal projects are how we stay sharp. This one was an opportunity to focus entirely on craft, with no deliverables beyond the film itself.
