Documentary brand film
A day in the studio, a wall at a festival. We followed Düsseldorf-based artist Hoker One for Bacardi's 'Do What Moves You' campaign. From his workspace to the Pangea Festival, where he painted live in front of a crowd.
Error Agency approached us to produce a short documentary portrait for their client Bacardi. One artist, three days, authentic and unscripted.
Creative concept, direction, cinematography and edit. We developed the narrative arc, led the interview, and covered both the studio and festival environments.
Bacardi's 'Do What Moves You' campaign was built around people who follow their own direction: artists, musicians, makers. Hoker One, a Düsseldorf-based graffiti and mural artist, was a subject for Germany.
We structured the film in two acts: the studio, where Hoker works in private, and the festival, where the work becomes public. The interview was conducted in the studio, woven into the edit rather than presented as a talking-head sequence.
The final cut runs two minutes. A short version for social was cut alongside it. Both used the same core material, with different entry points for different platforms. Planned from the start.
